Abstract

Since The Beginning Of The 18th Century, The Republic Of Venice Has Sought To Get Closer To The Maghreb Countries In Order To Sign Peace Treaties With It In Order To Protect Its Commercial Interests In The Mediterranean Basin, Especially Since It Has Been Unable To Protect Them By Force. The Republic Has Achieved Its Goal In Peace Only After Vigorous Efforts And Efforts, In 1763, Venice Signed Its First Peace Treaty With The Tunisia Under The Reign Of Ali Bey, The First Treaty Of The Two Parties In Modern Times.
