ملخص:

 تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى معالجة بعض القضايا المتعلقة بالحشد العسكري الفرنسي في منطقة الأوراس (ثم الولاية الثانية بعد مؤتمر الصومام)، من زيارات قادة عسكريين فرنسيين للوقوف مباشرة على الوضع الأمني الذي خلفه اندلاع الثورة ليلة الفاتح نوفمبر 1954، ومن نقل العديد من الفيالق لمختلف الأسلحة بعدتها وعتادها إلى الأوراس، والعمليات العسكرية التي قام بها الجيش الفرنسي ومختلف الأجهزة الأمنية؛ من عمليات تمشيط، ومداهمة، وتتبع لخلايا الثورة، وما تبعها من حملة اعتقالات وتفتيش. من خلال مصادر محلية، ومحتوى أرشيف فرنسي، هذه المعطيات وغيرها كانت عامل ضغط رهيب على العمل الثوري في المنطقة، كما نهدف إلى معرفة مدى تأثر العمل والتنظيم الثوري إيجابا وسلبا جراء هذا الحشد العسكري الفرنسي إلى نهاية سنة 1956.

Abstract:

 The present study aims to cast light upon a range of the major issues related to the French military build-up in the Aures region (which later acquired a new after the Soumam Conference, namely the second province). We will dwell upon the various visits of the then French military leaders for the purpose of looking into the security situation triggered off by the outbreak of the revolution on the night of the first of November 1954. We will, likewise, address the transfer of many legions to their different weapons their equipment to the Aures, and the military operations carried out by the French army and the various security agencies. Furthermore, the study will attempt to bring into the light of day combing operations, raids, and tracking of the cells of the revolution, and the subsequent campaign of arrests and searches conducted by the French military forces. Our study’s data has been drawn from local sources, and the content of a French archive. It is noteworthy that these factors exerted massive pressure on the revolutionary action in the region. Our undertaking also aims to gauge the extent to which the revolutionary action and organization were affected, positively or negatively, by this French military build-up until the end of 1956.
