About the Journal

The journal is published by the University of Ghardaïa in Algeria and operates as a peer-reviewed academic platform dedicated to advancing research in social and communication studies. The journal follows an open-access policy, ensuring that all published articles are freely available to readers without subscription fees. This approach reflects our commitment to the broad dissemination of knowledge and to increasing the visibility and impact of scholarly work at both regional and international levels.

                 It does not charge any submission or publication fees (no APCs).

Our scope covers a wide range of areas within social and communication studies, including media studies, interpersonal communication, cultural studies, digital communication, organizational communication, political communication, health communication, public relations, journalism, and semiotics. The journal also welcomes interdisciplinary research that connects communication with sociology, anthropology, political science, public health, and related fields.

All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic integrity, originality, and methodological soundness. Authors are required to submit original work that has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere. The journal adheres to recognized standards of research ethics and publication transparency.

Regarding intellectual property, authors retain the moral rights to their work while granting the journal the right of first publication. Articles are distributed under a clear usage policy that allows academic sharing and citation with proper acknowledgment of the original source. The journal is institutionally supported by the University of Ghardaïa and operates with full academic independence. The views expressed in published articles are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the position of the university or the editorial board.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of authors, reviewers, and readers. Personal information collected during the submission and review process is used solely for editorial purposes and is not shared with third parties. To ensure long-term digital preservation and accessibility, the journal seeks to integrate recognized archiving systems such as LOCKSS and/or CLOCKSS, safeguarding its scholarly content for future generations.

Through these policies and standards, the journal aims to serve as a credible and dynamic forum for scholarly dialogue and to contribute meaningfully to theoretical development and practical applications in social and communication research.

تصدر المجلة عن جامعة غرداية / الجزائر، وتمثل منصة أكاديمية محكَّمة تُعنى بتعزيز البحث العلمي في مجالات الدراسات الاجتماعية وعلوم الاتصال.

تعتمد المجلة سياسة الوصول المفتوح، بما يضمن إتاحة جميع المقالات المنشورة مجانًا للقراء دون أي رسوم اشتراك. ويجسد هذا التوجه التزام المجلة بتوسيع نطاق نشر المعرفة وتعزيز حضور الأبحاث العلمية وتأثيرها على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي.

يشمل نطاق المجلة طيفًا واسعًا من الموضوعات في مجالات الدراسات الاجتماعية وعلوم الاتصال، من بينها: دراسات الإعلام، الاتصال بين الأفراد، الدراسات الثقافية، الاتصال الرقمي، الاتصال التنظيمي، الاتصال السياسي، الاتصال الصحي، العلاقات العامة، الصحافة، والسيميائيات. كما ترحب المجلة بالأبحاث البينية التي تربط علوم الاتصال بتخصصات أخرى مثل علم الاجتماع، والأنثروبولوجيا، والعلوم السياسية، والصحة العامة، وغيرها من الحقول المعرفية ذات الصلة

تخضع جميع البحوث المقدمة إلى المجلة لعملية تحكيم علمي مزدوج التعمية (Double-Blind Peer Review) لضمان النزاهة الأكاديمية والأصالة والمنهجية العلمية الرصينة. ويشترط على المؤلفين تقديم أعمال أصلية لم يسبق نشرها أو تقديمها للنشر في جهات أخرى. كما تلتزم المجلة بالمعايير المعترف بها في أخلاقيات البحث العلمي وشفافية النشر الأكاديمي

وفيما يتعلق بالملكية الفكرية، يحتفظ المؤلفون بالحقوق المعنوية لأعمالهم العلمية، مع منح المجلة حق النشر الأول. ويتم توزيع المقالات وفق سياسة استخدام واضحة تتيح المشاركة الأكاديمية والاستشهاد العلمي مع ضرورة الإشارة إلى المصدر الأصلي.

تحظى المجلة بدعم مؤسسي من جامعة غرداية، وتعمل في إطار من الاستقلالية الأكاديمية الكاملة. وتعبّر الآراء الواردة في المقالات المنشورة عن وجهات نظر مؤلفيها، ولا تمثل بالضرورة موقف الجامعة أو هيئة التحرير

كما تلتزم المجلة بحماية خصوصية المؤلفين والمحكّمين والقراء؛ إذ تُستخدم المعلومات الشخصية التي يتم جمعها أثناء عملية التقديم والتحكيم لأغراض تحريرية فقط، ولا يتم مشاركتها مع أي أطراف ثالثة

ومن أجل ضمان الحفظ الرقمي طويل الأمد وإتاحة المحتوى العلمي مستقبلًا، تسعى المجلة إلى اعتماد أنظمة الأرشفة المعترف بها دوليًا مثل LOCKSS و/أو CLOCKSS، بما يضمن صون إنتاجها العلمي للأجيال القادمة.

ومن خلال هذه السياسات والمعايير، تهدف المجلة إلى أن تكون فضاءً علميًا موثوقًا وحيويًا للحوار الأكاديمي، وأن تسهم بفاعلية في تطوير المعرفة النظرية والتطبيقات العملية في مجالات الدراسات الاجتماعية وعلوم الاتصال.
